This is a program that empowers ethical decision making, which fosters good leadership.
Each year during the Upper School experience, students like Celine are encouraged to make bold—but intentional and thoughtful—choices. Asking the “why” behind every “what” and “how” is always part of the learning process at TVT, so that graduates leave ready and eager to care for their communities and pursue lives of purpose.

I’ve learned that the biggest reward isn’t always the result—it’s knowing I pushed myself further than I thought I could.Dylan, Upper School Student
A Modern Jewish School
At TVT, academic excellence and Jewish learning strengthen one another. Rigorous academics teach students how to think deeply, while Jewish texts, traditions, and values ask them to consider why their learning matters. Through inquiry, reflection, and meaningful debate, students deepen their Jewish knowledge and identity while learning to engage across differences with understanding, respect, and the courage to stand alongside others. They develop the intellect, character, and adaptability to be ready for what comes next—grounded in who they are.

Human Intelligence Matters
At TVT, students do the thinking. They ask their own questions, explain and defend their ideas, work through difficult problems, create original work, and revise in response to feedback. Technology and AI may support that process, but they cannot substitute for it.
That process starts with the learning goal, not the tool: technology and AI are used where they can deepen student thinking, not replace it. As students grow, they learn to decide when a tool adds value, check it for accuracy, and be transparent about how they use it. They remain responsible for the ideas and work they create.
